This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.We use Your personal data to provide and improve the Service. Where registration or other procedures require the collection of personal data, We collect and use such data in accordance with this Privacy Policy after obtaining Your consent.
Article 1.Interpretation and Definitions

- The following definitions shall have the same meaning throughout this Privacy Policy, regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural form.

- Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
- Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest, or other securities entitled to vote for the election of directors or other managing authority.
- Application refers to the App, currently a software program provided by the Company.
- Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Flexeam Corp.
- Country refers to South Korea.
- Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, a mobile phone or a digital tablet.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Service refers to the Application.
- Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service, or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically from the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service.

Article 2.Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
- Types of Data Collected

- While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
- Phone number
- Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
- Usage Data
- Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
- When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
- We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.
- Information Collected while Using the Application
- While using Our Application, in order to provide features of Our Application, We may collect the following information, with Your prior permission:
Article 3.Information About Your Location
- Country/Region Information (Manually Set)
- We do not currently collect real-time location data through device GPS or similar means. If location-based features are introduced in the future, We will obtain Your separate consent, process such data in accordance with the Act on the Protection, Use, Etc. of Location Information, and provide advance notice through this Privacy Policy.
- In certain features, such as Planet (community), You may manually select and display country/region information, which You enter and change yourself.
- Such country/region information is used solely to provide the features You have chosen, such as content display and community formation.
- You may change or delete your country/region information at any time in Settings.
- Information from your device's address book (contact list)
- Photos and other information stored in your device's camera and photo library
- With Your consent, We may access contact (address book) information as well as photos and media files stored on Your device.
- This feature is used for the purpose of improving the Service and enhancing user convenience.
- You may choose one of the following three contact sync methods:
- Auto mode: Contacts are registered automatically, and a friend connection is formed automatically if the other party is also a Flexeam user.
- Private mode: Only contacts You select are registered as friends.
- Disabled mode: The contact-based friend registration feature is not used.
- Collected contact, photo, and media information is stored on our servers and is discarded upon account deletion. This information is not sold to third parties or shared for marketing purposes. You may change or withdraw Your contact and photo/media access permissions and sync mode at any time through Your device settings.
Article 4.Use of Your Personal Data
- The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
- To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
- For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.
- To contact You: to contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
- To provide You with news, special offers and general information about other services and events we offer, only where You have given Your prior consent to receive such communications. You may withdraw such consent at any time.
- To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
- For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.
- For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, marketing and your experience.
- As a general rule, the Company does not provide Your Personal Data to outside parties, except in the following cases, which may involve processing entrustment or sharing:
- Entrustment of Personal Data Processing: The Company entrusts personal data processing to the following party for the provision of the Service. Processor: Google LLC (Google Cloud / Firebase); Entrusted tasks: data storage and infrastructure operation. When entering into an entrustment agreement, the Company specifies compliance with applicable personal data protection laws and supervises the processor accordingly.
- For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
- With other users: when You share personal information or otherwise interact in public areas with other users, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside.
- With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information to third parties only with Your separate consent, and within the scope of that consent.
- Retention and Disposal of Your Personal Data
- The Company disposes of Your personal data without delay upon withdrawal of membership. However, the following information is retained for the period specified by applicable law before disposal: service access logs — 3 months (under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act); other information subject to a separate retention obligation under applicable law is retained for the period specified by that law.
- Images and videos shared in chat rooms are automatically deleted 3 days after they are sent.
- Upon disposal, personal data in electronic file form is permanently deleted using methods that prevent recovery, and personal data printed on paper is shredded or incinerated.
- Transfer of Your Personal Data Abroad
- We use cloud infrastructure to provide the Service, and Your personal data may be stored and processed on servers located in Korea, the United States, and Belgium. The following information concerns the transfer of Your data to the United States and Belgium.
- Recipient: Google LLC (Google Cloud / Firebase; for privacy-related inquiries, see https://policies.google.com/privacy) — Personal data items transferred: phone number, contact information, photos/videos and other media, and usage data (access logs, device information, etc.) as described in Article 2 of this Privacy Policy.
- Purpose of transfer: provision and operation of the Service, data storage and backup, and ensuring service stability.
- Timing and method of transfer: transmitted continuously over the network at the time the Service is used, and retained until membership withdrawal or the purpose of use is achieved, after which it is disposed of.
- This overseas transfer is for the entrustment of storage and processing of personal data, and is disclosed in this Privacy Policy in lieu of separate consent, in accordance with Article 28-8, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea. If You do not wish Your personal data to be transferred abroad, You may withdraw Your membership or request that the transfer be discontinued by contacting flexeam@flexeam.com; in that case, the Service may not be available because it cannot be provided without the cloud infrastructure.
- When entering into entrustment agreements, the Company specifies compliance with applicable personal data protection laws and, through the management and supervision of its processors, takes all reasonably necessary measures to ensure that Your personal data is processed securely.
- Delete Your Personal Data
- You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You.
- Our Service may give You the ability to delete certain information about You from within the Service.
- You may update, amend, or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account, if you have one, and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage Your personal information. You may also contact Us to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that You have provided to Us.
- Please note, however, that We may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.
- If You need to report or seek advice regarding a personal data infringement, You may contact the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (1833-6972, www.kopico.go.kr), the Korea Internet & Security Agency's Privacy Infringement Reporting Center (118, no area code needed, privacy.kisa.or.kr), the Supreme Prosecutors' Office Cyber Investigation Division (1301), or the Korean National Police Agency's Cyber Bureau (182, no area code needed).
Article 5.Disclosure of Your Personal Data
- Business Transactions
- If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
- Law enforcement
- Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
- Other legal requirements
- The Company may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation
- Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company.
- Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service.
- Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public.
- Protect against legal liability.
- Security Measures for Personal Data
- In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, the Company implements the following security measures: encrypted storage and transmission of personal data; access authority management and access control systems; retention of access logs related to personal data processing and prevention of their forgery or alteration; and the establishment and implementation of an internal management plan.
- However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure due to inherent technical limitations. The Company continuously works to strengthen security using commercially acceptable and reasonable means.
- Children's Privacy
- The Service is only available to users aged 14 or older. We provide the Service based on the age rating provided by app marketplaces (App Store, Google Play, etc.) and the registration information You provide. By agreeing to the Terms of Service when You register, You are deemed to have confirmed that You are 14 years of age or older.
- If We become aware that We are processing the personal data of a child under the age of 14, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea. A parent or legal guardian has the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the child's personal data, or to withdraw consent, and upon withdrawal of consent, the child's personal data will be disposed of without delay.
- If We become aware that We have collected or used the personal data of a child under 14 without parental consent, We will dispose of that information without delay. If You are a parent or guardian and become aware that Your child has provided Us with personal data without your consent, please contact Us using the information below.
- Links to Other Websites
- Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third-party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.
- We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.
- Changes to this Privacy Policy
- We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
- For material changes, We will notify You at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days before they take effect if the changes are unfavorable to You, by email and/or by a prominent notice on Our Service, and We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Article 6.Other
- We encourage You to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. The effective date of any changes is governed by Article 5.
- This Privacy Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute between the Company and You regarding personal data, an action may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
- This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 22, 2025.
This Privacy Policy is provided primarily in Korean and may also be provided in other languages; however, the Korean version shall govern in the event of any conflict.
